Emily v2.7 Update (January 4th 2008)

An update to Emily is on the way, currently undergoing some final testing before we make it available. You will be able to download it from the webiste and we will be sending courtesy update CDs out to registered users.

The update includes a change to the rebate calculation process, in line with recent CCA guidelines, and some minor bug fixes. More details will be posted here and on the forum in the coming days. We expect to release the software by Friday 18th January.

Online Enquiry Form Added (December 4th 2007)

We've added a simple online enquiry form, too.
You can find the form here.

Also made some updates to the About Us page.

Online Support Form Added (November 7th 2007)

We've added a simple online support form, to speed up and formalise support requests.
You can find the form here.

Maintenance Update (July 30th 2007)

Noticed that some of our image files were not displaying properly in some versions of Firefox 2.0 - this seemed to be to do with us leaving a CMYK colour profile in the JPG file. That's just technospeak for us not making the graphics as cross-browser friendly as they should be. We've fixed this now, but please do let us know if you're having trouble reading (or using) any aspect of the website.

Updates! (July 25th 2007)

Just a few minor updates to the website - a few extra details here and there, an updated list of goodies and interesting connections on the links page, updated contact information etc.
We will be announcing more details about Rachel and Pocket Emily in the coming few weeks, so watch this space!

New Website Launched! (July 5th 2007)

Finally, the old dark-blue look has gone! We introduced a new website as part of our ongoing image makeover - new domain name, new logo, new physical office location, new website.

We test the website with IE7 on the PC, Firefox 2 and Safari on both Mac and PC, and (just for fun) the Opera browser on the Wii platform, but obviously there are many other browsers in use out there. If you encounter a problem with the website, please do take the trouble to tell us about the problem (remember to tell us which browser and OS platform you're using too) and we'll do our best to fix things asap.

Change of Domain Name (June 21st 2007)

It's official - our domain name is now robsoft.net. As you'd expect, robsoft.co.uk will continue to work (it redirects to here) and the old email addresses will remain valid for some time to come. We'd prefer you to use our new contact details, all the same!

Vista Compatibility Update (June 1st 2007)

We are currently working on validating our software for use with Windows Vista (the Business edition in the first instance, with Ultimate and Home Premium to follow in time). Our current order of product validation takes in Pamela, Emily and Rachel.

If you are in the process of purchasing new PCs on which to run our software, please contact us first to double-check that the software in question has been verified on the new platform.

Emily Update v2.6 (April 2007)

We've released v2.6 of Emily, with immediate availability to all v2.4 users.

The key changes in this version are a series of improvements to the reminder/default letter generation process, a new "collector's walk-round" report, and a subtle but useful change to the program so that it takes it's currency symbol from Windows (previously the symbol was fixed as a sterling £ sign). This is of most use to our Irish customers!

The update is downloadable from the support page.

New Support / Forum Area (March 25th 2007)

For technical support, tips and progress reports we have made available a simple browser-based support forum, which you can find on the support page. You don't need to register to simply read the posts, although registration is free if you do wish to join in.

The registration process is fairly straightforward but, due to automated spam account registrations, we have had to instigate a simple means of email address verification before allowing people to publish comments in the forum.

You'll also find download links for updates, patches and support files, as and when we make them available.
