Working either on-site with your existing IT team, off-site at our Nantwich office or using a
combination to best suit your needs and circumstances, we offer a flexible and adaptable
approach to software design, development and consultancy.
It doesn't matter if you're looking at a single-user application on a single machine in a specific
location, a multi-user system spread across a corporate network and hundreds of machines, or
something in-between the two extremes; Robsoft have considerable experience in designing
and delivering practical, scalable and reliable software to match your needs.
We can get you started with advice on suitable tools and technology, or offer the whole
one-stop-shop service and bring-in tools and technology, on-demand, on your behalf.
In addition to developing new solutions, we can convert legacy systems and 'port' (or upgrade)
your existing software products to more modern platforms.
We can even advise and assist with existing in-house or third-party projects that might be
going astray, in need of fresh momentum or that simply require a little something extra to
get them to completion.
Sometimes all you need to get things moving again is a different perspective!
Although our expertise is predominantly in Delphi, MS SQL Server, Interbase 6 and dBase IV, we also undertake
projects using Visual Studio, PHP and MySQL, and can adapt to use your existing in-house tools if required.
Our comprehensive past experience includes Windows client/server application development work with Oracle,
and various wide-ranging projects using MS Visual C++, MS C, Visual Basic, Borland Pascal/Objects 7, Turbo Pascal,
Turbo Pascal/Windows, Foxpro Dos/Windows, and various aspects of basic HTML and CSS.
We've developed a wide range of application suites, programs and utilities from full-scale call-centre workforce
forecasting and planning systems, to high-street point of sale applications, to device-drivers and
data-input device interfaces.
KwikLoan - developed for Harvey & Thompson Pawnbrokers
This system was developed using Delphi 7 in a very short time frame to assist H&T with a new product launch.
Kwikloan integrates an attractive Windows front-end, carefully tailored around a specific real-world workflow.
It produces documents using a template-based approach that enables the client to customise and tweak the output without
recourse to the development team, and ultimately it passes the documentation back to a Microsoft Office
solution on a central PC.
The software was rolled out to over 60 shops in a matter of days and required only very superficial user
training.
